    As a Peach State Site Manager, you will

    • Have the responsibility for coordinating the installation of projects.
    • Focus on completing the installation of each project on-time, within the installation budget, exceeding the customer’s expectations and Peach State’s standard of quality each and every time.
    • Orchestrate the accurate flow of information and resources between Peach State’s project team, primarily the project manager, and the various on-site sub-contractors.
    • Be responsible for the delivery of excellence in our products and services on a consistent basis.
    • Provide new ideas to help us refine and improve the way we conduct our business.
    • Enhance and streamline the process required to install systems.
    • Focus on supporting our mission to be the best material handling systems integrator in the United States.

    Essential Duties & Responsibilities


    During the different phases of a project, the Site Manager will perform various tasks per the following summary.


    • Installation - This is a crucial phase in our "Value Added" offering. The critical tasks in this phase are the Subcontractor site kick-off meeting, the site management, assisting in problem resolution, documentation, reporting, and site safety enforcement.  Additionally, the generation of the punch list for completion during this phase is essential to our success.
    • Commissioning - During the commissioning phase of the project, the project team will exercise, test and debug the system. The Site Manager will assist in the successful completion of the "Acceptance Testing."
    • Project Close-Out (User training) - In this final phase, the customer is notified of completion of the project. The Site Manager will be part of a final walk-through, generating the punch list and resolving the items on the punch list.  During customer training, the Site Manager may be required to support or perform portions of the training program.
    • Travel – extensive travel will be required. >75%
    • Working Conditions – The environment will be either in a new building that is under construction or in an existing facility that may or may not have air conditioning.



    Required Skill Sets:

    • Strong Mechanical Aptitude is Critical
    • Strong Electrical Aptitude is preferred
    • Experience: 5 years minimum installing conveyor and sortation systems, carousels, controls, rack, mezzanines, in-plant offices, etc.
    • Computer skills: Using Microsoft products is preferred.
    • Organizational: planning, scheduling, organizing, executing.
    • Strong Attention to Detail and Accuracy
    • Problem Solver: not only the ability to solve problems but the ability to think ahead and anticipate difficulties before they become a problem.
    • Decisive: able to make decisions and then act on a determined course with firm resolution.
    • Patient: not hasty or reactive but able to handle difficult or demanding situations without complaining.
    • Customer Relations: able to work with tradesmen and executives. A mature and confident leader that can handle and manage stressful situations.
    • Communication: both written and verbal with team members, customers, vendors and subcontractors.
    • Strong Work Ethic: lead by example and not afraid to get your hands dirty.
    • Leadership: integrity, honesty, teamwork, self-starter, motivated.
    • Interpersonal Skill: strong interpersonal skills and the ability to influence team building.
