    To be our totally amazing Parts Correspondent you must be focused on delivering incredible customer service to our internal and external customers.

     

    You will be processing parts orders for customers, technicians and sales department via phone.  The Parts Correspondent processes customer orders in an accurate and timely manner utilizing various reference materials such as parts manuals, microfiche, and computer. 

    Essential Duties & Responsibilities

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    1. Researches, reviews and sources parts for customers, technicians and sales department.
    2. Performs extensive phone contact with vendors, customers and technicians.
    3. Adjust stock levels to ensure proper inventory and billing.
    4. Process orders and bill parts to technician work orders.
    5. Checks on backordered parts and communicates status accordingly to expedite orders.         
    6. Processes customer, technician, and supplier returns.
    7. Maintains contact with the public, customers, and other employees for the use of information exchange.
    8. Performs related duties as assigned or as the situation dictates.

    Qualifications

    Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

    1. Knowledge of computer such as keyboard, 10-key, and Outlook.
    2. Skilled in customer relations via phone skills.
    3. Skilled in both written and oral communications within all levels of an organization both internally and externally.
    4. Ability to perform research and utilize multiple sources in order to expedite orders when part not in stock.
    5. Ability to multi-task, plan and prioritize work, and attention to detail.
    6. Ability to apply exercise sound judgment and reasoning.

    Education and ExperienceThis position requires a minimum of a High School Diploma/GED equivalent.  Incumbent should have a minimum of 1-3 years customer service experience.  Prior parts phone sales, or some mechanical background a plus.
