  • Overview

    Oversee all operations of warehouse and warehouse personnel.   The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for the timely picking / shipping of parts orders and receipt of orders, the warehouse and van inventory processes, and the handling of various return claims to Raymond and other vendors to ensure that proper credit is collected by Associated.

    Essential Duties & Responsibilities

    • Supervises day to day warehouse activities to ensure customers and technicians get their orders filled in a timely manner.
    • Responds to storeroom inquiries and problems from within the Central Division or Raymond.
    • Identifies Raymond shipping and billing discrepancies (SBD), then completes and submits claims to collect money owed as result.
    • Processes paperwork and returns cores (items the factory rebuilds for resale) to Raymond in order to receive credit.
    • Communicates damaged parts shipments to carrier for damage reimbursement.
    • Coordinates and conducts van inventories with Service to ensure inventory accuracy.
    • Analyzes variances, identifies parts for removal due to non usage, and recommends van inventory stock level adjustments.
    • Coordinates Warehouse Activities for annual physical inventory.
    • Responsible for keeping parts department working area clean and safe.
    • Performs related duties as assigned or as the situation dictates.

    Qualifications

    • Knowledge of Microsoft Office products, 10-key, and internal ERP system.
    • Knowledge of material handling service operations and associated inventories.
    • Skilled in inventory management.
    • Skilled in employee management and development.
    • Skilled in both written and oral communications within all levels of an organization both internally and externally.
    • Ability to perform basic mathematical computations to determine credits, and money owed.
    • Ability to multi-task, plan and prioritize work, and attention to detail.
    • Ability to operate various forklifts and complete required SOTM training for the same.
    • Ability to exercise sound judgment and apply reasoning

     

    Education and Experience:  

    • Requires a High School Diploma or GED equivalent and a minimum of 2 years of related experience in warehouse inventory management. 
    • A strong orientation to detail, organizational skills, and ability to delegate is necessary
